My research interest lies in studying the economics of information technology, with particular emphasis on the implications of new technology to consumer welfare, firm pricing and competitive strategies. My research is interdisciplinary and spans information systems, marketing, and economics. My current work studies the economic impacts of online word of mouth, social media and mobile technology, and employs two categories of methodologies: game theoretic modeling and econometric analysis.
