Research interests:

I am interested in the development and application of information systems at various levels of analysis. My recent research has primarily focused on digital innovation produced by collectives of organizations and individuals. For example, I have studied the governance and evolution of digital platforms and ecosystems in different domains, including enterprise software and mobile apps. I have also studied collaboration in teams, in particular software development teams.

I prefer papers with strong theoretical grounding and contribution. I appreciate work that helps address individual, organizational, or societal challenges by embracing their complexity while relying on clear ideas and arguments.

Methodological expertise and interests:

I am most comfortable with qualitative research, survey studies, mixed-method research, and conceptual work. I am open to but have limited experience in design science or experimental research. I do not have deep knowledge on advanced forms of econometric analyses or analytical modeling.
