Research Interests:

I have focused my research on software process and product design and have examined issues related to the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise information systems; distributed product development and service delivery; and software-driven innovation. My research projects have been concerned with helping organizations to (1) produce high quality software products, solutions, and services in an efficient and cost-effective way, and (2) improve the efficacy of digital business strategies that rely on enterprise software platforms.

I also have a developing interest in issues related to online communities and technology-facilitated social change, especially in the context of bottom-of-the-income-pyramid communities.

Methodological Interests:

I am open to any research method. I have used the following research methods in my projects: case studies, design science, econometric analysis, field experiments, lab experiments, machine learning, simulations, and surveys. I do not have strong expertise in game theory.
