Term: January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2021

Research Interests:

My primary research interests focus on human-computer-interaction (HCI) issues in various contexts (e.g., e-commerce, m-commerce, e-government, social media and social networks, e-health). I am also interested in addressing the “dark side” (or the negative consequences) of information and communication technology (ICT) (including but not limited to addition, cyber-bullying, deception, privacy invasion), and particularly in exploring how effective HCI design can be exploited to detect, prevent, and mitigate the negative consequences in the use and application of ICT.

Methodological Interests:

I am a quantitative researcher with expertise primarily in experimental and survey methods. I am not well-versed with qualitative, design science, analytical modeling, or econometrics studies.
